Today I'm going to show you how to do a super quick, super easy and super cute apple pie! This is perfect for dinner parties, Sunday lunches, or a brunchy/coffee morning situation! And serving something in a teacup automatically makes it amazing!
I've made this recipe using different ingredients such as strawberry jam or a liqueur but this recipe is really yummy and I have an obsession with putting cinnamon in foods and making them taste like Christmas!
Ingredients (for one portion):
1 apple
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Tsp Honey
2 Tsp Brown Sugar
Pastry (I used pre-made, but you can make it by combining flour and butter!)
A little bit of fresh milk
& a teacup and saucer!
Firstly I used the rim of my tea cup to cut around for my top pie crust!
Cut your apple into little cubes, and mix in a bowl with the honey, sugar and cinnamon. Dispense the mixture into your tea cup (make sure its oven safe, it will say on its bottom!)
Pop your pie crust on, I cut a little heart to place in the middle! Carefully brush the pastry with the milk.
Put it in a preheated oven at 180 celsius for 20 minutes! This time will be slightly longer if you are cooking more than one!
Place the cup on the saucer and serve with a little spoon!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe, what are your go-to favourites when you're entertaining?
Thanks for reading! Yasmin x
